“Grooms Cottage”
'We had a lovely stay at the Grooms Cottage, owned by the Marquis hotel. There were 3 of us plus a small well-behaved dog. The cottage is nicely furnished, modern and with a very well-appointed kitchen. There was lots of interesting wildlife coming into the garden area - we saw rabbits, squirrels and even a stoat and a partidge! Fab! At Canterbury Cathedral we also saw a bat. :) The staff at the Marquis were super friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. They set up a lovely breakfast for us outside in the garden area of the main hotel so we could breakfast with the small well-behaved dog! Would definitely recommend. Thanks again, Kelli' |
