Easter 2010 at the Marquis
This
easter, relax at the Marquis with one of our fantastic traditional
lunches or perhaps enjoy the bank holiday weeked in one of our luxury
rooms or cottages and put your feet up for the weekend, explore the
Alkham valley on foot or horseback or enjoy some of the fantastic
sights and historic castles East Kent has to offer...
Our restaurant opening times over the bank holiday weekend are as follows :
- Good Friday - Lunch 12 - 2.30pm / Dinner 6.30 - 9.30pm
- Saturday - Lunch 12 - 2.30pm / Dinner 6.30 - 9.30pm
- Easter Sunday - a traditional lunch at £ 29.95 for 3 courses will be served from 12 - 6pm
- Easter Monday - Dinner served from 6.30pm - 9.30pm
Our unique accomodation package offers options for 3 or 4 nights, and will include as follows :
3 night stay :
- 3 nights accomodation in the room of your choice arriving Friday 2nd April 2010 from 2pm.
- Full English breakfast each morning.
- A bottle of Kentish sparkling wine and Easter goodies on arrivals.
- Tasting menu for two including a flight of wines on the good friday evening from 8pm.
- Tickets to the great tower at Dover castle on Easter Saturday (optional chef's picnics basket available on request)
- Suggestion
for Easter sunday : make use of our pre planned walks around the Alkham
valley and an area of outstanding natural beauty, or reserve a place on
a hack at the local Equestrian centre.
- Traditional Sunday lunch on Easter sunday (served 12-6pm).
4 nights stay to also include :
- Easter Monday (included in 4 night stay only) : tickets to an open air performance of 'The Marriage of Figaro' (including a taxi to
& from the Marquis) in Canterbury at 3.30pm on Monday 5th followed
by 3 course table d'hote supper at the Marquis on your return.
Prices for a 3 nights stay are as follows :

Prices for a 4 night stay are as follows :
